Society and Technology Interaction (SoTI) Lab ยท University of Haifa
Before joining the University of Haifa, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems, with Dr. Elissa Redmiles' Safety & Society group. During my fellowship, I was involved in several projects, including projects that explored COVID-19 exposure notification apps. In these studies, we looked at the decision-making process of installing the apps, and later how people were using them.
My doctoral studies took place at the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tel Aviv University, under the advisement of Prof. Eran Toch. I explored "User-Centered Privacy-by-Design", where we looked for ways to involve users in the process of designing privacy in information systems.
I received my MSc also under the advisement of Eran Toch. My Master's thesis focused on longitudinal privacy in online social networks (OSNs). We explored how sharing preferences correlate with the time passed since first publishing content in OSNs. Quite different from my current fields of interest, I received my BSc in Life Sciences from Ben-Gurion University.
